This is beautiful I don’t think I’ve seen a jacaranda tree in person!

It should be on your bucket list. They really are beautiful.

They are my fave color in the whole world.

I always have at least one purple thing among my few shirts, dresses to wear. I’m very lucky my complexion and eye color are both enhanced by purple!

I love jacarandas, too. Thank you for this wealth of information and sharing your passion, Larissa. The purple is so striking.

I always say Jacarandas are so underrated! We used to have two gorgeous ones outside our apartment and they chopped the branches off RIGHT when the flowers began to bloom. It was devastating.

It’s my favorite season too!

Oh, that would break my heart. Hopefully they grow back.

I can’t believe I found someone who loves Jacarandas as I do. I got introduced to them in South Africa and haven’t seen one since I left in 2001. You’re so lucky to have them where you are. I love the carpet of blue petals when the shed them in the spring and streets lined with blue.

I guess you’ll just have to come out here sometime.

At the right season too.

Absolutely. Where do you live now? I’m sad you don’t have them there. They really are magical.

I live in Tennessee— too cold for a Jacaranda tree to survive.
